Popular Nigerian social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, of threatening his life.
The influencer made the allegation in a viral video shared on his Instagram page, claiming that the threats were connected to an ongoing online dispute involving popular content creator, King Mitchy.
The dispute reportedly began after King Mitchy renovated a public school within six days with financial support from Seyi Tinubu.
VeryDarkMan had earlier criticised King Mitchy for allegedly failing to properly account for public donations she had received since 2025.
Following his claims that Seyi Tinubu was sponsoring King Mitchy’s charity projects, VeryDarkMan alleged that he began receiving threats to his life.

In a fresh video, VeryDarkMan claimed that King Mitchy contacted a mutual friend, expressing fear after speaking with Seyi Tinubu on the phone.
He alleged that she wanted to urgently meet with him to resolve the issue because of what she had been told.
The social media critic further claimed that Seyi Tinubu was angered by his continued criticism of the present administration.
He said he no longer feels safe and urged Nigerians to hold both Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy responsible if anything happens to him or his close associates.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Seyi Tinubu nor King Mitchy has responded to the allegations.
