
Mustapha Shu’aib, a key ally of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has officially resigned from the party.
Shu’aib, who was the youngest candidate in the 2023 general elections and contested the Bida North Constituency seat in the Niger State House of Assembly, said he intends to explore new political avenues and broaden his impact in public service.

He revealed that the decision came after extensive consultations with political associates, community leaders, and supporters across his constituency.
Sources close to Shu’aib told TVC that his resignation should not be interpreted as a withdrawal from active politics.
The party he plans to join next remains unknown.
