Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola, wife of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, has successfully rescued a 36-year-old Osun indigene, Titilayo Oluwaseun, who was stranded in Cairo, Egypt.
Oluwaseun had earlier reached out for help in a viral video, alleging that the person who facilitated her travel had seized her passport and forced her into hard labour.
Responding to her plight, Mrs. Oyetola, through her foundation, Ileri-Oluwa Women and Children Support Initiative, intervened by securing her passport and arranging a flight back to Nigeria.

Upon her return on Sunday, Oluwaseun was received by Remi Omowaiye, Executive Director of Project Implementation at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), who praised Mrs. Oyetola for her swift action.
Omowaiye said, “When the wife of the Minister heard about Titilayo’s situation, she quickly mobilized her foundation to investigate and provide support. Thanks to her efforts, Titilayo is safely back in Nigeria today.”
He also urged Nigerians to exercise caution when accepting offers to travel abroad, warning that some individuals may exploit unsuspecting travelers.
