
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is in mourning following the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Yesiro Karamo.
Yesiro, who was elected alongside other members of the State Executive Council during the APC congress at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, Lagos, on Tuesday, passed away just hours before the planned inauguration at the party’s secretariat on Thursday.
Confirming the news, the Lagos APC’s Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo, described Karamo’s death as a “painful and tragic loss” for the party, highlighting his dedication and commitment to progressive politics.
“Yesiro embodied loyalty, energy, and an unwavering belief in the ideals of our party,” the statement read.
