
Nollywood veteran Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her financial journey in the Nigerian movie industry, admitting that she is not as wealthy as some of her colleagues despite her long-standing career.
In an exclusive conversation, the award-winning actress revealed that while she has enjoyed fame and recognition over the years, financial success has not always followed.
Bimbo explained that the entertainment industry can be unpredictable, with inconsistent income streams, high personal expenses, and the challenges of managing finances in a competitive environment.
“I have been in the industry for decades, and I’ve had my fair share of success on screen, but that doesn’t automatically translate to wealth,” she said.
“Many people assume that actors are all rolling in money, but the truth is very different for most of us.”

“I am proud of my work and the impact I’ve had on the industry. Wealth is important, but it’s not the only measure of success,” she concluded.
