Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has informed the Nigeria Police Force that he is available for them if they need him for questioning.
In a post made on Facebook, Sowore, who didn’t state why the police were after him, disclosed that he is in Abuja, FCT.
“I have been informed that the Nigeria Police Force is searching for me. I am currently in Abuja and available at their convenience. It appears that the new year is about to start on a positive note! #RevolutionNow,” Sowore wrote.
Although the reason for the development is yet to be ascertained, it may be unconnected to a recent video where the activist refused to take the order of some men of the Nigerian Police Force during a stop-and-search process.
In a video he posted online, the former presidential candidate was heard chastising the policemen for causing traffic along “airport road”.
