President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared his readiness to sacrifice his life for Iran, as tensions in the ongoing conflict involving Israel and the United States continue to rise.
Pezeshkian made the declaration on Tuesday via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, where he emphasized the growing number of citizens willing to defend the country.
According to him, over 14 million Iranians have already registered their readiness to lay down their lives in defense of the nation, describing it as a reflection of strong patriotism and unity among the people.

“I too have been, am, and will remain devoted to giving my life for Iran,” the president wrote.
His statement comes at a critical moment, just hours ahead of a deadline reportedly issued by Donald Trump, who has urged Iran to reach an agreement to de-escalate the crisis.
Trump had warned of severe consequences if no deal is reached, stating that a “whole civilization” could be at risk if tensions spiral further.
The exchange of strong rhetoric highlights the fragile state of the situation, with fears growing over a possible escalation into a wider regional conflict.
As diplomatic efforts continue behind the scenes, global attention remains fixed on whether both sides can step back from the brink and prevent further deterioration of the crisis.
