A well-known event planner, Mina Orupabo, has reportedly died after being shot by unidentified gunmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to reports, Orupabo—who was the CEO of Special Bensington Ushers—was attacked on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, at about 8:00 p.m. along Total Gospel Road, off Peter Odili Road.

She was said to be on her way to an event hall for a pre-event inspection when the assailants opened fire on her. Her driver and another person accompanying her were able to escape the attack.
Orupabo was taken to a hospital for treatment but later succumbed to her injuries on Saturday.
