
Bauchi State Police have arrested four siblings in connection with the murder of a private security guard during a violent attack at a farm in Jama’are Local Government Area.
According to SP Nafiu Habib, the Police Public Relations Officer, the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, March 15, when hunters reported an attack on three private guards at the farm of Idris Waziri Kwamawa.
Police rushed to the scene and found one of the guards, Bello Bura (40), dead. Two others, Sani Hussaini (32) and Gidado Mohammed (32), sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the General Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.

Bello Bura’s body has been released to his family for Islamic burial.
Six suspects were initially detained, but four of them.
Chidawa Ahmadu (25), Adamu Ahmadu (20), Usman Ahmadu (15), and Yusuf Ahmadu (22), all from Bediri village, Jama’are, remain in police custody, facing charges of culpable homicide.
Authorities recovered three cutlasses, two sticks, and a torchlight from the suspects.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities immediately to the nearest police station or the Command’s control room.
