A fire early Saturday morning tore through Golab Shopping Complex at Redeem Junction, Bembo area, Apata, Ibadan, destroying properties worth millions of naira.
The blaze affected five shops on the upper floor of the complex, but fortunately, no lives were lost, confirmed Hon. Maroof Akinwande, Chairman of Oyo State Fire Service.
Firefighters quickly contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building. The cause of the incident is still unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
