A disturbing incident has been reported in Okitipupa LGA, where a 28-year-old man allegedly killed three of his siblings in a violent attack that has thrown the community into shock and mourning.
The suspect, identified as Femi Agbeye, was said to have attacked the victims inside their family home on Tuesday. Residents claimed he was believed to be mentally unstable at the time of the incident.
The victims were identified as Bose Agbeye (20), Dupe Agbeye (7), and Blessing Agbeye (5), all from the same household.
According to eyewitness accounts, the attack occurred while other family members were away from the house.
It was gathered that the family head, Baba Agbeye, had gone to the farm with his wife and youngest child before the tragedy unfolded.

When they returned later, they reportedly encountered the suspect outside the premises, unaware that the fatal incident had already taken place inside the home.
The suspect was later apprehended, and the matter was reported to the authorities.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force in Ondo State, Jimoh Abayomi, said the suspect is currently in custody while investigations are ongoing.
He added that the police are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and urged residents to remain calm and allow due process of law.
The bodies of the victims have been deposited at a state medical facility as the community continues to grapple with the shock of the tragedy.
