
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared 43-year-old John Kelechi Ekuma wanted for allegedly obtaining money by false pretence.
An indigene of Ikwo Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Ekuma’s last known address is 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, called on members of the public to assist with any information that could lead to Ekuma’s arrest.

“The public is hereby notified that John Kelechi Ekuma, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the notice read.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact EFCC offices nationwide or reach out via official channels, including the hotline 08093322644 or email info@efcc.gov.ng.
The EFCC reaffirmed its commitment to fighting financial crimes and encouraged citizens to support its ongoing investigations by providing credible tips.
