
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has responded angrily to claims that he owes $50,000 to his wedding planner, calling the allegations “crazy.”
The controversy erupted after Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of the company reportedly responsible for organizing Davido and Chioma’s wedding, allegedly called out the singer for an unpaid debt.

Social media quickly amplified the report, including screenshots of a purported conversation in which the event planner threatened legal action.
Reacting on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Davido dismissed the claims, writing:
“This is just crazy atp (at this point).”
The singer’s fans have since flooded social media with reactions, defending him and questioning the credibility of the allegations.
Meanwhile, there has been no official statement from Funke Bucknor-Obruthe addressing the matter publicly.
