Bolaji Ogunmola Threatens Legal Action Over Repeated Flight Delays in Ekiti

Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has openly accused United Nigeria Airline of unprofessional conduct after experiencing repeated flight delays and cancellations that left her stranded in Ekiti State for two days.

The actress, who was in Ekiti for work, said she was scheduled to return to Lagos for another film production but was unable to do so due to the airline’s actions.

According to Ogunmola, her flight was first delayed for several hours before it was eventually cancelled without any clear explanation or alternative arrangement.

The actress revealed that her lawyer would take up the matter, stressing that the airline’s actions were unfair and unacceptable, especially coming barely a month after the commencement of commercial flight operations in Ekiti State.

With her production crew already on set in Lagos, Ogunmola said she had no choice but to consider travelling by road, which she described as unsafe.

She said she was forced to pay for accommodation and other expenses while waiting for a rescheduled flight, only to face further delays the following morning.

Despite being told the flight would depart at 8am, the take-off time was allegedly shifted multiple times, moving from 9:30am to noon and later to 5:30pm.

In a tearful Instagram video, the actress expressed frustration over the lack of communication and empathy from the airline, noting that the delays disrupted her work schedule and put her source of livelihood at risk.
