Reflecting on the old interview, Osu said she recently sat down with the same magazine that featured the conversation years ago, describing how reading her past words brought both laughter and deep emotion.
According to her, what stood out most was the strong belief her younger self had — the conviction that she would build a successful career in Africa and learn from whatever life placed in her path.
She said that although life did not unfold exactly as she once imagined, her dreams have taken shape in their own unique and beautiful way through grace, growth, mistakes, prayers and persistence.
Osu concluded by thanking her younger self for her courage and her present self for refusing to give up, noting that growth often happens quietly and becomes clear only when one looks back.
She also appreciated photographer Adaeze Ibechukwu for capturing the memorable moment years ago, adding that revisiting it brought back vivid memories of that day. She ended her message with a hopeful note, saying her younger self would be proud of how far she has come.
