Nigerian actress and reality TV personality Beverly Osu has revealed that despite her years of dedication and hard work, she believes she has been underpaid throughout her journey in the entertainment industry.
The actress made the statement while speaking during a recent episode of Ghacha’s Couch podcast, where she reflected on her career and the financial challenges she has experienced in the industry.
According to Osu, the body of work she has built over the years should have placed her among the wealthiest entertainers on the continent.
She explained that her portfolio, which spans several areas of entertainment, is strong enough to have made her a billionaire in Africa.
“I have worked so hard. My portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa,” she said.
Osu noted that her career has involved exploring different aspects of the entertainment industry.

She said she started as a luxury model, worked as a video vixen, gained recognition through reality television, and later established herself as a professional actress.
Despite these efforts and achievements, the actress said she feels that the financial rewards she has received do not reflect the level of work and commitment she has invested over the years.
She emphasized that while she considers herself a humble person, she understands the value of her work and believes creatives in the industry deserve better compensation.
Osu also stated that her experience has motivated her to advocate for improved pay structures within the entertainment sector, noting that many artists continue to struggle financially despite their contributions to the growth of the industry.
Her comments have sparked discussions among fans and industry observers about the issue of fair pay for actors, models, and other creatives in Nigeria’s entertainment space.
