The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his emphatic and historic triumph in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Ejimofor Opara, stated in a press release made available to journalists on Sunday that Governor Soludo secured 73 percent of the total votes and won in 98 percent of the 326 electoral wards across the state.
According to Opara, this overwhelming result reflects the clear and unequivocal mandate given by the people of Anambra. He added that it affirms the citizens’ confidence in Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, bold reforms, and steadfast dedication to creating a prosperous and livable homeland.
Opara stated, “This overwhelming victory goes beyond just election results; it represents a clear endorsement of effective leadership, a celebration of progressive governance, and a reaffirmation of APGA as the genuine political voice of Ndi Igbo and the steward of Anambra’s development goals.
“We also commend the professionalism and vigilance of our security agencies, whose dedication ensured a peaceful and orderly electoral process throughout the state.”
APGA expresses its profound gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for fostering an environment of peace, fairness, and national responsibility throughout the electoral process.
The party also commends the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a transparent and credible election that truly reflects the will of the people.
At the same time, APGA mourns the tragic loss of its member, Mr. Francis Onyeka Ibe, Councillor of Owerre-Ezukala and leader of the Orumba South Council, who was shot and killed by armed assailants shortly after casting his vote.
