After 17 days in police detention, Nsukka DJ, Rex Paul regained freedom for looking like a kidnapper.
Asenexpress.com had reported that Rex Paul was at his sister’s shop in Nsukka town when a man identified as Ifeanyi Asogwa entered the shop and pointed him as kidnapper and immediately called the police to arrest him.
Mr Asogwa told the officers that Rex Paul looks like one of the people that wore yellow and black mask to kidnap him and demanded 400, 000 Naira Ransom.
Barr Chinedu Agbowo reacting shortly after the release said that police is yet to get a substantial evidence for the kidnapping allegation leveled against the DJ.
