Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has revealed a shocking betrayal that led to the collapse of her marriage.
In a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress disclosed that her best friend also became romantically involved with her husband while Omo Local was married to him.
She explained that her friend’s pregnancy occurred after her husband secretly slept with her, a truth that came to light months later.
Omo Local said she was five months pregnant when she discovered that her friend was already three months along. She found out after noticing striking similarities between her friend’s pregnancy timeline and intimate details only her husband would know.

The revelation left her devastated, feeling deeply betrayed by both her closest friend and her spouse.
“The shame and trauma were overwhelming.
I was so hurt that I even attempted suicide,” she admitted, recalling the darkest period of her life.
When asked about her former friend, Omo Local said she has lost contact with her and does not know where she is now.
She added that her ex-husband and the friend went on to have three children together after she left the marriage.
Despite the painful experience, Omo Local said speaking publicly about it is part of her healing process.
She hopes her story can encourage others facing betrayal to seek help, prioritize their mental health, and make decisions that protect their wellbeing.
