Nigerian actor and content creator, Bamidele Tope Saint, popularly known as Okemesi, has made a public appeal for help after revealing that a prolonged illness has left him homeless and struggling to survive.
The actor, who has been absent from the screen for almost a year, broke down emotionally during an interview with fellow actor Tony Montana, where he recounted how his health challenges turned his life upside down.
Okemesi claimed that the illness began suddenly and worsened over time, draining his finances and cutting him off from stable accommodation.
According to him, he was initially taken to a hospital where kind-hearted individuals helped cover his medical bills.
However, his condition reportedly deteriorated, forcing those around him to reach out to his family for assistance.

He was later moved to Osogbo to stay with his elder brother, where he sought further help.
Okemesi disclosed that after a brief period of recovery, circumstances beyond his control forced him to leave his brother’s home.
With nowhere else to go, he said he began sleeping on church premises and relying on occasional support to feed himself.
Describing the situation as the most difficult period of his life, the actor appealed to fans, colleagues, and the general public for assistance, particularly with accommodation and basic needs, as he works toward regaining stability and returning to his career.
The video of the emotional interview has since sparked concern online, with many Nigerians calling for support and solidarity for the struggling actor.
