Ned Nwoko Allegedly Orders Arrest of Regina Daniels’ Close Friend Over Theft Claims

Nigerian billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has reportedly ordered the arrest of Ann, a close friend of his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, over allegations of theft and conspiracy.

Ann was said to have been arrested on Monday in Lagos State by police officers attached to the Ajah Division. The arrest was reportedly carried out following a court order accusing her of conspiracy, assault and theft.

The development was made public by Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, who shared a video of the arrest on social media. In the video, police officers were seen escorting Ann as she was taken into custody.

Reacting to the incident, Sammy denied the allegations against Ann, insisting that she had never been to Senator Nwoko’s residence. He questioned the basis of the court order and expressed frustration over what he described as abuse of power by law enforcement agencies.

“There was no time Ann ever visited Ned’s house. So how is there a court order to detain her for conspiracy and theft?” he wrote, lamenting the state of the country’s justice system.
The arrest is reportedly part of a series of actions involving Regina Daniels’ relatives and associates, which allegedly began about two months ago after the actress publicly accused the senator of abuse and domestic violence.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor the police had issued an official statement addressing the allegations or the circumstances surrounding Ann’s arrest.
