Actress Mojisola Adebanjo has spoken candidly about the boundaries she has chosen not to cross in the film industry, emphasising that her integrity and peace of mind are non-negotiable.
In an interview, Adebanjo said she has learned to remain grounded in her values, even when faced with pressure to conform to unhealthy industry practices.
According to her, she deliberately avoids industry “games,” gossip and manipulation, noting that such behaviours often breed toxicity. She explained that she would rather protect her self-respect and inner peace than pursue forced relationships or instant fame.
Reflecting on an early experience in her career, the actress revealed that she was once urged to create unnecessary drama as a means of getting ahead, a suggestion she firmly rejected.
She said that although the decision may have seemed costly at the time, she has no regrets, stressing that her integrity and peace of mind are priceless.

Sharing her thoughts on relationships, Adebanjo said separation becomes necessary when values, safety and well-being are threatened. She noted that abuse—whether physical, emotional or sexual—as well as persistent toxic behaviours such as manipulation, control and constant negativity, are clear warning signs that should not be ignored.
The actress also spoke on the importance of financial stability for actors, describing side hustles as essential due to the unpredictable nature of the profession.
She explained that acting income can be inconsistent, making additional sources of income necessary to provide financial security and cover basic expenses such as rent and daily living costs.
