Chris Ngige, former Governor of Anambra State and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment, has been arrested and is currently with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.
The confirmation came from Ngige’s former media aide, Fred Chukwulobe, who dismissed online rumours that the former minister had been kidnapped.
He stated,
“Former Governor of Anambra State and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, is with the EFCC.
Ngige recently made headlines when his convoy was attacked by armed men in Anambra State. He was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
