Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), reveals why he no longer hires female secretaries.
Pastor E.A. Adeboye has explained why he stopped employing female secretaries after moving to the church’s Redemption ,Camp.
Speaking to congregants at the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway campground, he said the decision was rooted in personal discipline and the need to maintain firm boundaries, especially because his pastoral responsibilities often keep him working late into the night.
According to him, the choice was not an act of discrimination but a safeguard against situations that might lead to temptation.
“I know myself and the dangers of being alone at night with the opposite sex,” he stated.
He, however, praised his former secretary at Ebute-Metta, describing her as a devoted Christian whose conduct was consistently exemplary.
