American model and television personality, Amber Rose, has said she no longer identifies as a feminist, explaining that motherhood has changed the way she views gender issues.
Rose made the disclosure while reflecting on how her beliefs have evolved with age and after becoming a mother to sons.
The model said that although she remains a strong supporter of women’s empowerment and “girl power,” raising sons has given her a broader perspective on issues surrounding men and women.
“As I’ve gotten older and now have sons, I’m no longer a feminist. I still believe in girl power, but I see both sides now,” she said.

Her remarks have triggered debate on social media, with some users questioning her decision to distance herself from feminism, while others argued that her experiences as a mother may have influenced her changing perspective.
Rose has for years been outspoken on women’s empowerment, body positivity and gender-related issues, making her latest comments a notable shift from some of the views she has previously expressed publicly.
