The Oyo State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the abduction of 38-year-old Nathaniel Peter in Layeri Village, near Ikoyi-Ile, Oriire Local Government Area.
Peter was reportedly abducted around 4:20am on September 24 when three armed men allegedly broke into his room and took him away. The gang reportedly escaped through the National Reserve Forest with his motorcycle and mobile phone.
The arrested suspects, identified as Muhammadu Abubakar and 17-year-old Jayun Danali, are assisting the police with information as investigations continue.

Police spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade said the arrests had provided useful leads towards identifying other members of the gang. Security agencies have also intensified efforts to rescue Peter and apprehend the fleeing suspects.
Residents in the affected communities have been urged to remain vigilant and provide credible information to the authorities.
