
Troops of Sector 4 under Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a suspected kidnapper in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, as part of ongoing efforts to combat insecurity in the region.
The Nigerian Army disclosed this in an official statement shared on its X (formerly Twitter) handle, noting that the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Mohamdu Surajo, was apprehended at Sabon Layi village following sustained security operations.
According to the statement, the suspect is currently in military custody and undergoing preliminary interrogation to support further investigations aimed at dismantling criminal networks operating within the state.
