Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has dismissed claims that she ignored popular fuji musician, Pasuma, during a recent event in Lagos.
The controversy began after a video surfaced on social media showing Pasuma attempting to get Akindele’s attention while she was engaged in a conversation with another guest.
In the clip, the actress appeared not to respond, prompting speculation that she deliberately snubbed the music star.
An X (formerly Twitter) user, Uoladiti, shared the video with a caption suggesting the interaction reflected poorly on Akindele, further fueling online reactions.

However, the actress has since addressed the claims, firmly denying any wrongdoing. She explained that she acknowledged Pasuma at the event, adding that they even shared a moment together.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity please. I saw him, greeted him, and danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Please you all should stop this,” she wrote.
The incident comes shortly after Akindele was also linked to another alleged snub involving her colleague, Toyin Abraham, at a movie premiere an issue that sparked widespread reactions at the time.
