Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is undergoing an intensified recovery programme as the Turkish club works to restore him to full fitness ahead of their crucial Super Lig showdown against Fenerbahçe this weekend.
The Nigerian forward, sidelined for about a month with an arm injury, has returned to training with the squad and even travelled for Galatasaray’s recent away game against Gençlerbirliği S.K. However, he was not featured as the club continues to carefully manage his return.
Coach Okan Buruk is reportedly implementing a structured fitness plan aimed at ensuring Osimhen reaches peak condition in time for the derby, which could play a decisive role in the title race.

Reports from Turkey suggest the striker will complete at least eight training sessions before the high-profile encounter in the Turkish Super Lig, with Galatasaray prioritising his full recovery over a rushed return.
While there has been speculation about a possible appearance in the Turkish Cup tie, the club’s focus remains firmly on having him ready for the league clash.
Since joining Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in strong form, scoring 12 league goals and providing four assists in 19 appearances, alongside seven goals in European competition. He is currently second in the club’s scoring chart behind Mauro Icardi.
Galatasaray, who are narrowly leading the title race, will depend heavily on a fully fit Osimhen as they prepare for their high-stakes encounter against rivals Fenerbahçe.
