
A man narrowly escaped death after reportedly jumping into the Lagos Lagoon from a bridge on Wednesday, in an incident that has raised fresh concerns about mental health and emotional wellbeing.
According to eyewitness accounts, the unidentified man had parked his car on the bridge before plunging into the water. However, disaster was averted when local fishermen in the area swiftly intervened and rescued him from the lagoon.
A video capturing the dramatic rescue surfaced online and was shared on Instagram by social commentator Isaac Fayose, who expressed concern over the incident and urged Nigerians to be more attentive to the emotional state of those around them

As of the time of filing this report, the circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, and the identity of the man has not been confirmed.
