
Residents of Gada area on the outskirts of Kazaure town in Kazaure Local Government Area of Jigawa State have intercepted a vehicle suspected to be transporting explosive materials.
The incident reportedly occurred around 1:00 a.m. on April 10, according to a post shared on X by counter-insurgency and security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Sources said the vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, was allegedly loaded with materials suspected to be explosives when vigilant members of the community intercepted it.

Upon being confronted, the occupants of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, abandoning both the vehicle and its suspected contents.
Security sources further disclosed that the vehicle and the recovered items were later handed over to relevant security agencies for proper investigation.
Authorities are said to have launched efforts to track down the fleeing suspects while the nature of the recovered materials is being examined.
