
The Abia State Police Command has launched an investigation after the body of a junior staff of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, Mr. Ikenna Onuoha, was discovered along a bush path in the Amaeke-Isiadu area of Umuahia North LGA.
Onuoha, described by colleagues as jovial and hardworking, was found lifeless last week, sparking shock and confusion among his family, friends, and fellow hospital staff.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, said preliminary investigations indicate that Onuoha may have committed suicide.
“Detectives visited the scene, took photographs, and the body has been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
