
Social media personality Uzzybarby has publicly criticized individuals allegedly impersonating her online to defraud unsuspecting people, describing the trend as a troubling rise in identity-based scams.
Taking to Instagram, she vented her frustration in strong terms, incorporating Yoruba expressions to emphasize her anger. She accused the scammers of stealing her photos to deceive and take advantage of men, warning that their actions would eventually catch up with them.
Uzzybarby also voiced concern over the number of people still falling for such schemes despite obvious red flags. She lamented that some victims continue to send money to individuals falsely claiming to be her.

Reacting to the situation, she stated: “All these scammers using my pictures to defraud people—I’ve even posted another one for you to steal again. I will find you soon. It won’t end well for you.”
She went on to clarify her official online presence, noting that she is not active on certain platforms commonly used by impersonators. “If you’re sending money to the wrong person, I don’t understand why. I’m not on Twitter, and my only Facebook name is Amadi Calista,” she said.
The incident highlights the increasing prevalence of social media impersonation and identity theft, with public figures frequently becoming prime targets for fraudsters.
