
Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the alleged rape and killing of an elderly woman in Iboropa-Akoko, Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The victim, identified as Veronica Anthony, reportedly fell prey to a brutal attack in her home, triggering widespread anger and fear within the community.

The suspect, Anthony Alabi, was traced and apprehended following a meticulous investigation that tracked the deceased’s missing phone.
Police spokesperson Jimoh Abayomi confirmed that Alabi is currently in custody and has allegedly confessed to the crime.
