
Enugu social media commentator Chijinkem Ugwuanyi has regained his freedom after spending 50 days in detention at the Enugu Maximum Security Custodial Centre, expressing heartfelt gratitude to God and those who supported him throughout the period.
In a statement released shortly after his release, he described the experience as intense and overwhelming, noting that the circumstances surrounding his arrest and detention by state authorities were extraordinary.
He appreciated the prayers, solidarity, and unwavering support received from individuals, groups, and organizations, even though he chose not to mention specific names to avoid leaving anyone out.

According to him, the challenging ordeal strengthened his faith and deepened his appreciation for life and safety, which he attributed to divine intervention.
