A fire outbreak has razed three residential buildings in the Gaida area near Fatima Bread in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at about 11:05 a.m. and was confirmed by the Kano State Fire Service through its Public Relations Officer, Saminu Abdullahi, in a statement released on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered that the fire had originated from an open space measuring approximately 50 by 50 feet, used as a site for an electrical transformer. The flames quickly spread to nearby structures, affecting three residential buildings.
The first building, a ground-floor structure containing a room, parlour, and toilet, was completely destroyed. The second, a one-storey building, suffered extensive damage, particularly on the upper floor.
The third building, also a ground-floor structure with two rooms and a toilet, was entirely consumed by the fire.
