Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has shared her admiration for Muslims observing Ramadan, admitting that fasting would be challenging for her personally due to her difficulty going without food.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, the award-winning artist joked that she believes she would struggle with the demands of the holy month. “To my Muslims out there doing Ramadan fasting, God knew not to make me a Muslim,” she said. “If I wake up and go three hours without eating, my head starts to hurt, and I’ll start hearing voices.”
Cardi B humorously explained that she becomes irritable and experiences physical discomfort if she doesn’t eat within three hours of waking up. According to her, hunger quickly affects her mood and energy levels.

“When I wake up, I have like a three-hour limit. If I don’t eat in three hours after I wake up, I start to hear things. I start cursing people out. I don’t have the strength to be a Muslim,” she added candidly.
Despite acknowledging her own limitations, the rapper praised Muslims for their devotion and commitment during Ramadan. “They love their God so much,” she said. “I love when people are loyal to their creator.”
