Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the end of her long-standing rift with her ex-husband and father of her son, Olakunle “Kunle” Churchill, bringing closure to a highly publicised feud that spanned almost ten years.
The actress shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, January 24, 2025, revealing that peace had finally been restored after years of conflict marked by public disputes, strained communication and prolonged hostility.
In an emotional post, Dikeh attributed the reconciliation to divine intervention, stating that calm and mutual respect had replaced years of bitterness. She described the resolution as a result of mercy, humility and prayer, noting that what seemed impossible had finally been healed.
She also acknowledged Churchill’s role in the reconciliation, thanking him for choosing peace and obedience to God, and described the moment as a long-awaited restoration after a painful journey.

Offering encouragement to others facing similar struggles, Dikeh urged those who feel weary or misunderstood not to lose faith, expressing hope that restoration is still possible. She concluded her message by describing the reconciliation as “10 years in one day.”
Dikeh and Churchill were married in August 2015, but their marriage ended less than two years later amid allegations of domestic abuse and infidelity, which Churchill denied. Their separation quickly became contentious, playing out publicly through social media exchanges and media interviews.
The conflict also extended to disputes over the custody and welfare of their son, King Andre, including disagreements over the use of Churchill’s surname. Over the years, tensions between the former couple resurfaced repeatedly, often accompanied by legal threats and sharp public exchanges.
The actress’s announcement marks a significant turning point in what has been one of Nollywood’s most widely followed celebrity feuds, signalling a rare moment of reconciliation after years of public discord.
