The Super Eagles will earn a $50,000 reward for each goal they score in tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs final against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The three-time African champions pocketed $120,000 for their 4–1 win over the Panthers of Gabon last Thursday.

The initiative, launched by the National Sports Commission (NSC) alongside unnamed corporate sponsors, is aimed at boosting the players’ morale as they chase a place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
The winner of the showdown between the Super Eagles and the Leopards will secure a spot in the Intercontinental Playoffs scheduled to hold in Mexico in March 2025.
